tonight reminded me of why some people, really just shouldn't drink.

quick update.

i'm back in new jersey.
we finally moved back into the house (WOW).
have gotten to see favorites such as alaina, angela, karla, and lauren (to name a few).
i miss boston... kinda... well, the people.
chris came to visit. (yay)
mid day large obnoxious drink innebration on cinco de mayo.
i work at diesel now.
diners can now be a nightly thing due to my recent return to mountainside.
sang some karaoke.
bought some vinyl.
best pedicure of my life.
hurrcut.

and even though i have to be awake at 8am to drive my mom to work every day, i'm still the happiest i've been in a very very very long time.

so i haven't written here in about a month or two or whatever. i don't care.

i went to sleep at 10 so i could wake up at 530 to do work for my 8am. i guess live journal IS the ultimate distraction after all.

quick recap:

=finals week was torture. not because i had awful finals, well, i had one awful final, but because for the first half of finals, while i had all my photo work to do, i was pretty sick. and life sucked. my dino final was awful, but was a good excuse to get drunk at 10am.

=break was good. i worked a few times over the break. got to experience the new gm who's an asshole. and i had to work in the morning on new years day. ick. but i got to hang out with all of my favorite jersey kids.

=i had an awkward/awesome birthday. the awkward was the dinner with my parents+my sister+her boyfriend+my israeli family. they thought it would be a good joke to take me to lips. i was not laughing. neither was my israeli uncle. nice joke dad, nice joke. after that i met up with some of my favorite ladies and we went to rififis. long story short we met andy milonakis and he bought me and karla shots in honor of my birthday.

=new years was good... well, not just new years but that entire weekend. the night before new years lauren and i went to see our favorite... the bouncing souls. the show was absolutely horendous. why? because i really hate starland ballroom. it is an awful venue when it's full. after the show we went to eric's house. ran into some kid from northeastern. awkwardly avoided people from high school. and what was great was that joe and kyle were in town so they came over with chich, which made me so happy. such a good time. then new years eve, i trekked out to kearny, got lost in neward along the way, met up with chich, kyle, and joe, went to a diner where i seriously had the best burger i've had. then that night i went to katies. drank lots of beer. had a dance party. rung in 2006 with a few of my favorite people. then had to wake up for work in the morning. balls to that.

=then i went to california. it was nice to be in the sunshine for a few days. my vacation was eh, though. we didn't really do much of anything, and all everyone did was just complain and go to the mall.

=then i had a week back at school. and alaina came to visit. we did fun things, like, going shopping, going to see jfk's house, and going to see jesus is magic (which i reccommend), but my favorite was that we went to the museum of science. we ran with little kids, saw butterflies, i schooled some little smartass about dinosaurs, went breakdancing, saw monkeys, and learned about reproduction! good times.

=then i went home for the weekend. got to re-see the people i love. i got to spend a lot fo time with my parents. saturday we almost got killed by a huge tree branch while we were driving. the impact of it was so hard and it came so close to hitting our windsheild. thank god it only hit the hood. but i was in shock, and scared out of my fucking mind. sunday night we went to dinner in the city for my sister's birthday, and lo and behold, who's a few tables next to us in this fancy restuarant? andy milonakis. how weird is that? ps. i highly reccommend isabella's. their food was SOOOOO fucking good. then i met up with my ladies at the scotchwood afterwards, and i swear, like, that's the place to be at 1am. we ran into so many people. weird. i had a breif encounter with "the bitch". it was the first time i saw her since a little over a year ago when she called me, that's right, a kike. and seeing her, all i could do was laugh. i laughed hard. the next day, angela and i found my old sephora guy, rafael. i missed him. i was in the pursuit to find him for over a year now, and he was nowhere to be found. but lo and behold, we found him.

=i came back to boston monday night. this week has been average. work still has not put me on the schedule. i'm officially skeptical if they ever will, what with their new 800 people they just hired. luckily i picked up a shift on saturday, and while i'm there i'm gonna put my foot down. these classes i'm taking this semester kinda blow. i'm only half enjoying about 2 of them. but whatever. it's one semester. and it's school i'm supposed to blow.

=i've been drinking a lot less lately. i have a crush. maybe. maybe 2. life's complicated. i don't want to talk about it.

fuck i need to do my homework.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kelly Freas, an influential illustrator who produced sleek, stirring images for science fiction and fantasy books and helped shape the image of Mad Magazine mascot Alfred E. Newman, has died. He was 82. Freas died in his sleep Sunday at his home in Los Angeles, said his wife of 16 years, Laura Brodian Freas, the host of a Los Angeles classical music program. The cause of death was old age, she said.

~worked yesterday and after expenses made less than twenty dollars
~saw my "diner crush" on christmas... at the diner
~fridays was open
~christmas landed on shabbat so i couldn't go to jerusalem pizza on christmas
~realization that i have one week left here

i'm having an ipod problem, if anyone knows what to do, please let me know.

i plugged my ipod into my computer, and it started charging, but it didn't update it. and then i clicked on file, looked for update my songs on ipod, and it was all greyed out. so i tried restarting the program, and then restarting the computer, and it still won't update my ipod. what's wrong and what should i do?

so i distincly recall getting my tetnus shot the day before warped tour '02, and being in a ridiculous amount of pain DURING warped tour '02. however, my doctor's office is full of a bunch of dumbasses who forgot to put it on their records that i got my tetnus shot in august of '02. they're full of crap. and now i can't register for spring 05, because there's nothign on my immuniaztion records that says i've had my tetnus shot.
